Simon Ansing at Q3Ambientfest

At this year's Q3Ambientfest at Kesselhaus // Waschhaus Potsdam we welcome Simon Ansing.
Simon once played an inspiring set at Kosmoskonzerte, now he is back again at 7th edition of Q3Ambientfest.

Berlin-based multi-instrumentalist and producer Simon Ansing started playing the upright bass when he was six years old. Since then he has played in symphonic orchestras as well as in progressive metal bands. He worked as a producer for singer-/songwriter projects, played fancy electric guitars and synths in pop bands and improvised on his upright bass around all-time standards in jazz clubs. In 2020, his band trio “AUSKLANG” (ambient/post-rock) released “Chronos” on US-label Past Inside The Present. All these different influences and styles melt into his own solo project, where he tries to play upright bass and analogue synthesizers at the same time, to find the perfect sweet spot between natural sounds and electronic elements.
